Can
you describe the taste of One hundred winters and one hundred summers?
To
wait or not to wait, that is the question. One Benno Seppelt had to deliberate
over for quite some time. 100 years to be exact, but his patience was well
rewarded. In 1878 he put a puncheon of port in the cellar and did it again the
following year. Since 1878 stocks of port from every year await their hundredth year and when
that happens they don’t get a letter from the Queen, they get bottled and
released. So Benno’s foresight is now there for you to taste.
And
what an experience that is. Sipping a Seppelt 100 year old Para Liqueur
Vintage Tawny Port is an exquisite pleasure. How can one describe one hundred
winters and one hundred summers?
