Barossa Valley Sherry

The Seppelt collection of Fino, Amontillado and Oloroso proudly stand as Australia’s finest expression of this style. Made from Palomino grapes grown in the Barossa Valley and given extended maturation using a traditional solera system.  

Seppelt DP 116 Barossa Valley Amontillado is made from the palomino grape using a traditional solera system. During the extended ageing process the protective flor is removed, accelerating maturation. The resulting wine gains a rich, nutty complexity and a sweet mid-palate whilst retaining a refined elegance and a dry, cleansing finish. An excellent aperitif and the ideal accompaniment to soups.  

The recipient of 6 Trophies and 55 Gold Medals in Australian Wine Shows since 1990.  

Seppelt DP 117 Barossa Valley Fino is a classic bone-dry flor style of great finesse, produced using the traditional solera system and is the finest example of its style in Australia. Fragrantly lifted and refined with a lively intensity of flavour the Seppelt DP 117 Show Fino is best served chilled as the ideal aperitif.   

The recipient of 8 Trophies and 42 Gold  Medals in Australian Wine Shows since 1990.  

Seppelt DP 38 Barossa Valley Oloroso - During vintage, parcels of fruit with a rich intensity of flavour are identified for Seppelt DP 38 Show Oloroso, the richest and sweetest of the Palomino styles. Extended maturation using a traditional Solera system results in a rich, full-bodied wine with a delicate balance of sweet honeyed flavours, aged rancio complexity and a lifted dry finish. 

The recipient of 17 Gold Medals in Australian Wine Shows since 1990.
