Seppelt Coborra Pinot Gris. Although this is the first vintage under the new Seppelt Coborra label, the name inspired by the state forest to the west of the Drumborg vineyard, Seppelt has been producing Pinot Gris since 1997. Seppelt Bellfield Marsanne Roussanne 2004 is the second release by the House of Seppelt of this classic Rhone style blend. Sourced exclusively from the Glenlofty vineyard, this wine possesses varietal floral fruit character and a palate with rich intensity of flavour making it a fine white wine partner to Shiraz. The refined nature and structure of this wine are a direct consequence of the cool early autumn temperatures of 2004 and of the outstanding quality of the overall vintage. Seppelt Jaluka Chardonnay is named after the 'Jaluka' valley is nestled in the hills neighbouring the Great Western winery in central Victoria. It is the name given to the finest Chardonnay selected by our winemakers each vintage from the cellars at the House of Seppelt. Jaluka is the native placename of the town now called Jallukar and is specified in the historical book of Ararat as "The Valley between the Grampians (Serra) and Victoria Ranges". Seppelt Moyston Cabernet Merlot demonstrates the successful blending of fully ripened cabernet and merlot grapes to produce a generous, fruit-driven style, complemented by subtle oak. Seppelt Chalambar Shiraz derives its name from the picturesque Mount Chalambar near Great Western in Central Victoria, this Shiraz has been crafted by the House of Seppelt since 1952. Sourced from a selection of Victoria's finest Shiraz growing districts, this wine highlights the success of multi-regional blending.
